Prescribed Burning Workshop

Area producers can learn about using prescribed burning at a workshop to be held Thursday, December 3, at the American Lutheran Church in Smith Center.  The workshop will start with registration at 8:45 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.  Lunch is being provided by Partners For Wildlife with the Kansas Fish and Wildlife Service.

The cost of the workshop is $5.00, which covers the workshop notebook along with refreshments for the morning and afternoon breaks.  Pre-registration is requested by November 27 and can be sent to the Smith County Extension Office, 218 S.
